1 Scheme details
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a Central Sector scheme launched in February 2019. It provides income support of ₹6,000 per year to small and marginal landholding farmer families across India. The amount is transferred in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 every four months via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Beneficiaries
Over 11 crore farmer families have benefited from this scheme since its launch. The scheme covers all landholding farmer families irrespective of the size of their land holdings.

- Must be an Indian citizen meeting the scheme criteria.
